







After our wild water ride through the underground Waitomo Caves, we took a look at the terrain from above. The trailhead for the Ruakuri Bush Walk was literally just a few steps from where we entered the Cave. This 45-minute loop was indeed a limestone wonderland featuring caves, tunnels, bridges, streams, and grottos. All of us took countless pictures - attempting to capture the essence of this fascinating piece of nature.
Mom - I sure have been enjoying your blog posts from when we visited! We did SO much stuff - you're hardly through blogging our first week in New Zealand. What an amazing vacation. Miss you!
