Not Even Here 24 Hours When...

To get our bearings, we headed to downtown Rotorua and checked out the Visitors' Center. Rotorua is a very popular tourist/vacation destination, so this place is well stocked with information, and the staff is knowledgeable. Among other things, we had questions about mountain biking, bank locations, churches,and fishing. For more information about fishing licenses,we were directed to Hamill's Fish shop - just down the street. After getting the lowdown on fishing licenses and regulations, we wandered about the store. Imagine our surprise when we saw a taste of home - cover boy Duane Jacklin - featured prominently in this 8 x 10 display photo and in Hamill Adventures literature!
