Before leaving Auckland, we sprung for a fabulous dinner at chef Peter Gordon's "Dine" - located in the Grand Hotel. We chose the 5-course tasting menu with New Zealand wine pairings - good idea! My favorite course - "Tempura Miso Quail" with Surveyor Thomson Pinot Noir Central Otago '06. Good thing Tom starts working again next week.

Great Dinner Before Hitting the Road
Before leaving Auckland, we sprung for a fabulous dinner at chef Peter Gordon's "Dine" - located in the Grand Hotel. We chose the 5-course tasting menu with New Zealand wine pairings - good idea!
