But a Seal Crossing??

Since arriving in New Zealand we have routinely seen cows and sheep in fields and all over hillsides. And twice we've had to stop the car to for cow crossings. However, our South Island trip was just one surprise after another - not the least of which was driving past a colony of seals with one of the bigger fellows preparing to cross the road.
